Food for Thought

When I was young I used to believe that love was all that mattered. As I grew up I realised I was wrong. Love in the form that I believed is pretty rare in the world. Love results more commonly from a person's need or want. People love someone because they are either good looking, or rich, or powerful, or smart, or talented or they have something that is desired. Nobody loves another because they just love them. Nobody loves for Love's sake. If people actually did then, that would be heaven. There wouldn't be any hatred among people if they just loved one another just for being loved. When love stems from want or need then, it breeds within itself jealousy and hatred. It can never be pure or true love.   I wish that this greed stops, that people love one another just for the sake of love because loving someone and being loved both are beautiful emotions. It brings positivity and happiness and will make the world a better place. - R V Shantharam 

Earth has been existing for billions of years.. humans just for a few thousand years. We know about Dinosaurs because we found fossils of them.. what if we never found those fossils? Life is a pathway to an unknown destination. God just set us on this journey .. He knows where we're going .. He watches over us during the entire pathway.. We walk the path trusting only Him even though we don't know why or where we're going. Imagine it as you're climbing a mountain.. On the way we see many people like us , climbing with us, towards the same destination .. Some of them are strong and young , some are old and weak, some bring along snacks and drinks, some didn't have a meal yet, some wear headgears, and expensive accessories, some walk barefoot, some carry heavyweights , some walk carefree, some walk fast, some walk slow, some walk in groups, some walk alone. Now we don't ask why some have a better journey.. we all move towards the same destination irrespective of all these things.. there is a reason why God gave them certain things that he didn't give you.. we will never know.. but He knows.  We have to ignore these thoughts to have a p...
