Discovering Astrology

Over the past few days i've been doing some research on astrology.. On planetary positions and how it influences our lives.. Out of curiosity, ofcourse. My findings astonish me. The accuracy with which they predict certain aspects of our nature and life is revelational.

I see this from two points of view..

One, is my own theory of how this works.. I like to view Astrology as a map of time, nothing more. We've all learnt in school that entropy (randomness) exists all around us, in everything , right from the atoms in a molecule to the celestial bodies in space.. but i believe that entropy, however random, has a pattern to it in the long run.. which means, everything has a predictable sequence of outcomes in the long run.

We could refer to the " Chaos theory ", which is about finding the order in the disorder. . For ex., a mathematical equation can predict the next earthquake, likewise even the stock market has a certain pattern to it making it predictable to a certain degree.

So by logic, our lives, as humans, the things that we go through, and the things that happen around us, and around the world, revolutions and wars, could possibly follow a pattern.. that is predictable with the right measurements.. and the best way to measure these patterns could be by mapping the celestial bodies. With the right measurements we can even make out a pattern that might repeat itself in millions of years.

What is indeed quite astonishing, is the degree of accuracy with which these predictions are present.. How on earth did our ancients make measurements to map these patterns right down to each individual lives I cannot possibly fanthom !

The second, is the point of view of Metaphysics.. Simply, it includes everything that cannot be explained by Physics. For ex., Do ghosts really exist ?? Those who’ve seen would believe, others may or may not. Does God exist ?? Again, it depends on our belief. There are much more things in the cosmos than those that meets the eye or rather, the human brain. Just because physics cannot prove it, doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist.

Metaphysics states that there exists abundance of energy in the cosmos.. that could be downloaded into our lives at will.. and each of the celestial bodies have energies of their own.. and based on the positions of these bodies during our birth, these energies could possibly influence us and thus, our lives. This might seem quite vague for some.. but as I said, this cannot be proved, and if you believe in God, you’ve got to believe in this too.

A peek into practical astrology..

Did you notice that there have been no prominent world leaders who sincerely tried to reform the lives of people since the time of Abraham Lincoln, or our respected Dr.Kamarajar or Dr.Anna Durai ? Did you notice that there are different generations or eras in time - Eras of war, of reform, of freedom, of industrialization, etc.. ?

Well, according to astrology, this is because of the position of Pluto, the powerhouse of transformation. Pluto, as we know, is the farthest planet in the solar system (though now downgraded to a dwarf planet), and takes the longest course of revolution around the sun, which is presently about 248 years. So, it transits each zodiac for approximately 14-21 years. Thus, influences all the people born in that particular period in the same way… in other words, it transforms generations.. and recurs every 250 years.

A little interesting fact,

1905 to 1931 (Gemini Pluto) - Generation of intellect, communication and literature.

1932 to 1953 (Cancer Pluto) - Generation of sentiments, home, and security.

1954 - 1968 (Leo Pluto) - Generation of leadership, endurance and grandiosity.

1969 to 1980 (Virgo Pluto) - Generation of analysis and perfection.

1981 to 1992 (Libra Pluto) – Generation of justice , harmony, and relationships -> That’s my Generation ! :D

1993 to 2005 (Scorpio Pluto) – Generation of the dark and unconventional.

2006 to 2019 (Sagittarius Pluto) – Generation of knowledge and visionaries.

2020 ~ 2035 (Capricorn Pluto) – Generation of upheaval, healing, and new order.

…and a little more,

2035 ~ 2050 – Generation of innovations, technology, and freedom.

2050 ~ 2065 – Generation of imagination, fantasy, and arts.

So, if this is right, we can hope to see new world leaders by 2025 through 2050.. let’s wait and see.. hope I’m alive to see the world reform !
